Syria: the intervention of NATO “completely excluded” (Rasmussen)
The Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen said that a NATO military intervention in Syria was totally excluded, the Western media reported Monday.
“This is totally excluded. We have no intention to intervene in Syria,” said Rasmussen quoted by the media.
Sunday, October 30, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said that any Western interference in Syria risked provoking “an earthquake” which would inflame the entire Middle East.
