According to TechCrunch, the social network with 800 million subscribers is preparing to launch its service audited accounts using pseudonyms. These accounts will have the opportunity to associate their profiles with a nickname, by which they would be better known than their own name. To do this, Facebook will request proof of identity of the person through his photo ID, a business card a birth certificate or via a credit card in his name.

The site of Mark Zuckerberg announced that the audit shall be performed manually, but that official documents will be well removed permanently. No mention will appear on the profile of a verified account, unlike Google+ or Twitter . The service is available today announced (in the U.S.) by invitation.
